Exhibition | The Monegasque Pavilion>
To mark the 500th anniversary of Vasco de Gama's voyage to India, the city of Lisbon, Portugal's capital, hosted an International Exhibition on the theme of "Oceans – a Heritage for the Future". From 22 May to 30 September 1998, a 50-hectare site on the banks of the River Tagus in Lisbon, welcomed 155 countries and international organisations and a total of 10 million visitors.
